Brie with brandy and sage infused fig

This is a simple yet sophisticated presentation of delicious nibbles while serving wines. 🍷🍷🍷

All you need is Brie cheese, figs and puff pastry.


  • 7 figs cut in quarters

  • 1 Tbsp sugar

  • 1/4 cup brandy

  • 4 sage leaves

  • 1 puff pastry sheet

  • 1 round Brie cheese


  1. Preheat oven at 350 F.

  2. In a bowl mix figs, sugar, brandy and sage leaves. Stir well to release sage aroma. Let stand for 10 minutes.

  3. Roll the pastry dough into a square shape.

  4. Put the Brie cheese in the middle and wrap it with the dough, raising the sides a bit to hold the fig mix.

  5. Spoon the fig mix on top of cheese.

  6. Put it in the oven (350 F) for 20 minutes or until the dough turns golden brown.

  7. Take it out of oven and let cool for 5 minutes before cutting.
